Sabrina Carpenter and The Lie About Sex: A Christian Perspective Hi Reader, Trying to work out how to live faithfully in our increasingly sexualised culture is genuinely hard. Everywhere you look, you’re told overt sexuality is empowering. It can leave you unsure what faithfulness is even meant to look like. In this week’s video, I look at what Sabrina Carpenter’s recent success reveals about how our culture uses sex — and then turn to the Bible to ask: what is sex actually for? In just 12...

Taylor Swift, Identity, and the Lie We Believe Hi Reader, As 2026 begins, there's a question facing us: Who am I meant to be this year? And when we answer that question the wrong way, our identity becomes a burden. We either perform a version of ourselves for an audience — or we’re stuck reliving past versions of ourselves we don’t know how to leave behind. In this week’s short video, I look at how Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour captured the way our culture thinks about identity — and why that...

Have You Got the Christmas Manger All Wrong (The Devastating Truth) Hi Reader, Lots of people treat the manger like a cute Christmas prop. In this 15-minute video, I’ll show you what the manger likely was in the first century, why Luke highlights it as a “sign,” and how it’s the first step in Jesus’ downward...
